Ordering Repeat Prescriptions - Clay Cross 

We ask for 2 working days to process repeat prescription requests.

Prescription Enquiries can only be dealt with between 8am &12.30pm and 2pm & 5pm. Calls outside these hours will not be answered. Please make your prescription telephone enquiries during the times stated

We can arrange for your repeat prescription to be sent to Market Street Pharmacy, Bridge Street Pharmacy, Tupton Pharmacy or Tesco Extra Clay Cross; this service requires 4 working days.

For your safety we do not accept any repeat prescription requests over the telephone.

Please note prescriptions will not be available for collection on Wednesday afternoons when we close once a month for staff training. Closure dates can be found on our website under the heading"Opening Times" 

Options

  • In person – bring your repeat prescription request to surgery and put it in the box in reception. 
     
  • By post – post your repeat request to us with a stamped addressed envelope for us to post it back to you. 
     
  • Online - via the link at the top of this page 
    (Please note you will need to register for this service) 
      
    If you have not already registered to use SystmOnline you will need to contact the surgery to do this. The old method of ordering has now been discontinued. 

Medication Reviews

Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see a doctor, nurse practitioner or practice nurse at least once a year to review these regular medications and notification should appear on your repeat slip.

Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions.
