Our team of advanced nurse practitioners are able to see patients with many urgent conditions and are able to prescribe and refer.
Lead Nurse for Mental Health
Our Mental Health Nurse deals with all aspects of mental health such as depression and anxiety. He has appointments daily at Clay Cross for initial assessment and review. Patients can also be seen at Grassmoor by arrangement. The GP's direct all patients with symptoms relating to mental health to Jon who has worked for many years in this specialist field.

This role was created to help patients get the best service they can from the Practice. The Patient Liaison Advisor deals with queries on all aspects of Blue Dykes Surgery. Telephone us on 01246 866771 if you would like to speak to her directly.
Our highly skilled reception team are always happy to help you with aspects of our service including booking appointments, requesting repeat prescriptions and informing patients of test results.

Brigitte is our Practice Pharmacist. She works at our Clay Cross site every day and oversees our prescribing policies. She sees patients for medication reviews and is authorised to prescibe in her own name.

Ben & Rochelle work part time. They deal with medication enquiries and re -authorisation of medication.
The District Nurses are not based at either of the Blue Dykes Surgeries. They provide nursing care such as dressings and blood tests in the community for our housebound patients.

Grassmoor patients should contact the Surgery on 01246 852995 and the staff there will liaise with the Nursing team on your behalf.
The Health Visitors are not based at either of the Blue Dykes Surgeries.

Ellie works with the Health Trainer Service which provides support for individuals that need help to make life-style changes. She has information on a number of topics and is available for patients to speak to on an appointment basis. Please contact the surgery and ask to speak to her in the first instance.
